Caroline Bertlin new CFO at Nordion Energi

Caroline Bertlin has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and member of the management team at Nordion Energi, which specialises in energy infrastructure.

“Infrastructure has a key role to play in society and the transition. I look forward to helping drive Nordion Energi’s growth based on the new platform that the company has created for its development,” says Caroline Bertlin.

Caroline Bertlin has been working at Nordion Energi since 2024, and has made a strong contribution to developing the company’s initiatives in the field of hydrogen. Since March, she has been CEO of the Group’s hydrogen infrastructure company Nordion Energi H2, a role she will continue to hold.

“Caroline has extensive experience in investment and financing from several industries, and is used to leading businesses undergoing change. Nordion Energi is an expanding corporate group in the field of energy infrastructure, with a platform that offers attractive opportunities for partnerships in the development of Sweden’s energy systems. Caroline will play an important role in realising the potential we see,” says Hans Kreisel, CEO of Nordion Energi.

Before joining Nordion Energi, Caroline was CEO of Nordisk Renting in the NatWest Group, specialising in long-term capital for strategic assets. Her previous assignments include national and international assignments focusing on strategy, finance and leadership, as well as restructuring and change management.

Caroline Bertlin will take up her new role on 1 July, succeeding Henrik Nebrelius, who will move on to the role of CDO, Chief Development Officer.
