Nordion Energi on site during Almedalen Week

Society is facing major challenges when it comes to a reliable energy supply and the pursuit of a fossil-free society. We are attending Almedalen in order to discuss with politicians, companies and stakeholder organisations how we can achieve the goals together.

Nordion Energi has identified five important areas in work on the transition:

• Large-scale biogas production provides green energy to Swedish industries
• Hydrogen infrastructure is crucial for the industrial sector’s transition – as transmission system operator, we have the knowledge and capacity to facilitate this work
• Carbon capture is necessary to achieve climate goals
• Liquefied biogas for shipping and heavy transport
• Increased capacity and flexibility in the electricity market – joint planning of electricity and gas
